Abstract

The 2 field books document Henry Cushier Raven's collecting in Borneo, September 22 - January 12, 1913; January 18 - May 28, 1914. Pages are numbered. The first specimen catalog includes field number (1033 - 1330), USNM catalog number (non consecutive), sex, type (common or scientific name), locality, date, measurements (head and body, tail vertebrae, hind foot), and remarks. Remarks describe specimen preparation, specimen contents (fetuses), weight, collecting method, or addition location or habitat information. Locations include but are not limited to the vicinity of Samarinda, Sungai Pelawan. |The second field book follows the same format and content as the first for field numbers 1331-1613. Locations include but are not limited to the vicinity of Samarinda, Sungai Ritan, Sungai Merah, Sungai Djanbazan.
