Abstract

Specimen list of birds Feinstein collected in South Vietnam from 18 September 1960 to 8 August 1961, 13 January to 19 July 1963, and August 1966, and in Ethiopia, December 1970. Feinstein records sex, age, scientific name, locality, date, measurement of overy or testes, and additional notes (sometimes containing information on stomach content, skull, physical description, or other details). Collector numbers 158 to 1470 and 1510 to 1534 are included. There is a large amount of blank pages between the final 1961 entry and the page containing entries for 1963, 1966, and 1970. Localities include Khe Sanh [Huong Hóa], Lao Bao, Caryu Danar, Dalat, Fyan [Ngoc Sơn], and Mount Lang Diau. See SIA Acc. 12-242 for details on mammals collected.
