Abstract

This field book includes a list of plants collected by Nelson in Mexico in 1894. Entries list collector numbers (1 through 1823). Physical description (color, size, presence of fruit), altitude, and common name (shrub, grass, tree, etc.) are included with most of the entries. Many entries have scientific names, written at the time or at a later date. Localities include: Orizaba, Vera Cruz, Yacochi, Oaxaca, San Miguel, Albarradas, Totontepec, Sonora. There are several loose pages and small clippings of field notes included in this volume.
