Abstract

This field book includes a list of plants collected by E. W. Nelson in Mexico, from 1897 to 1903. Entries list collector number (4000 through 7087). Physical descriptions (color, size, shape, etc.), and common names (shrub, grass, vine, etc.) are included with most of the entries. Many entries have scientific names, written at the time or at a later date. Longer, more descriptive notes on specimens can be found interspersed throughout the book. Localities include: Jalisco, Durango, Chihuahua, Guerrero, and others.
