Abstract

The field book and notes document Gerrit S. Miller's collecting in New York and Massachusetts, March 19 - October, 1891. Information is entered from the front of the back of the volume. Entries are dated and often headed with the type of bird observed or collected. Narratives describe individual and flocks of birds and their appearance, behavior, and habitat, often near bodies of water. Additional details include abundance.
