Catalog of birds Deignan collected in Australia from 19 March to 24 November 1948. Collector numbers 1-798 are included. Data collected includes scientific name of bird, sex, locality collected, date, and additional notes (often notes on type of environment the bird was found in or physical description). Localities include but are not limited to Darwin, Groote Eylandt, Cape Arnhem, and Oenpelli. Inserted into the middle of the book is a sheet containing numbers 5719-5996 entitled "birds - N.
