Abstract

Catalog of birds Copley collected from 7 July 1914 to 16 August 1915 in Alaska and Russia. Collector numbers 1-264 are included. Catalog lists sex and remarks including who collected the specimen and notes on scarcity and abundance. Names of birds are not given. Localities include but are not limited to Kodiak Island (Alaska), King’s Cover (Alaska), Siberia [currently Novosibirskiye Ostrova] in Emma Harbor [currently Komsomolskaya Bay], and Nijini Kolymsk [Nizhnekolymsk]. Additional notes on birds observed are included at the end of the catalog. List of locations visited is inserted at the middle of the book.
