This journal was kept by Leiberg during a trip to Northern Idaho in 1895 and Oregon in 1896. Entries are narrative and describe Leiberg's activities and detailed accounts of the landscape and vegetation, including plants observed. Includes meteorological data and observations. Localities include Snake River, Mathew River (sic), and Fort Hamath (Oregon).
