Abstract

A scrapbook style volume Blakiston assembled containing a combination of pasted in publication excerpts, research notes, notes from museum collections, and possibly field notes. Notes are dated from approximately 1872 to 1884 and pertain to birds collected by Blakiston and others in various localities in Japan, including but not limited to Tokyo and Hakodate in Hokkaido.
