Abstract

This field book consists of King's list of plants collected in Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica, 1960-1962. Entries include collector number (3020 through 5356); scientific name; locality; date; and brief notes describing habitat, collecting condition, and physical description of plants. Localities include the Mexican states of Veracruz and Chiapas, and the Canal Zone (Panama). A letter dated 2 August 1962 and in Spanish, from King to the Director of Instituto Interamericano de Ciencias Agricolas (in Costa Rica), is inserted between pages 116 and 117.
