PrintNotes Bendire transcribed from his field notes of eggs collected in Oregon, Washington Territory, and Montana from 14 April 1876 to 2 June 1878, 7 April 1881 to 18 July 1883, and 22 June to 6 July 1885. Includes common or scientific name of the bird, often a description of the nest (sometimes very detailed), sometimes the host tree, sometimes quantities of eggs, measurements, fraction of freshness or live embryo in egg, and set numbers. Example of set number format: 432 = 475. Localities include but are not limited to Camp Harney (Grant County, Oregon), Fort Walla Walla (Washington Territory), Fort Klamath (Oregon), and Fort Custer (Montana).
