Abstract

The materials include reports, memoranda,and copies of news clippings documenting work on sea otters in British Columbia, 1967. They include surveys of habitat relating to possible experimental transportation of sea otter from Amchitka to St. Paul Island. Reports discuss sea otter mortality, breeding behavior and season, as well as distribution and numbers. Additionally there are graphs relating to sea otter population, sometimes organized by month, age, and sex. Some materials relate to fur industry.
