Abstract

Alexander Wetmore travels to Michigan in 1951 to observe the Kirtland Warbler. Materials include correspondence, travel notes, and a map. Correspondents include Josselyn Van Tyne. 2 pages of travel notes list locations and dates of his trip (handwriting is difficult to decipher), and short description of the Kirtlander and thoughts on its survival. Notes indicate 16 skins and several specimens in alcohol were collected.
