Abstract

This field book includes a list of plants collected by Joseph Nelson Rose (with Painter, Standley, and Russell), in Mexico and southwestern United States, from 1908-1910. Entries list: collector number (11,601 through 15,144); scientific name; location; and date. Localities include: Langrty (Texas); El Paso (Texas); Cusihuiriachic (Mexico); Tucson (Arizona); California; New Mexico; Sonora (Mexico); Sinaloa (Mexico); and Tepic (Mexico). In the back of the book is a list of consignments sent to Washington, D.C. in 1910. The list is numbered (1 through 20) and includes originating location, date, and number of packages. Also included in these pages is a plant list that includes: collector numbers (15145 through 15207); scientific name; location; and date.
