Abstract

This field book consists of the field notes of Velva E. Rudd from 1970-1997. It includes notes from: Ceylon (now Sri Lanka); Mexico; California; Mexico; Brazil; Colombia; Alaska; Hawaii; Israel; Oregon; Venezuela; Canada; Costa Rica; Belize; and Guatemala. Entries include collector numbers (3050-3769); date; location; scientific name; and notes on habitat and physical observations of the specimens. The field book contains several pages of loose notes throughout, and a checklist of plants identified on Amazon expedition.
