Abstract

These notes on birds observed in Newport, Rhode Island, from 1898-1900 were originally written by Louis Mearns. This copy was written by Reginald Heber Howe, Jr., editor, Notes on Rhode Island Ornithology, and submitted to Louis Mearns for final corrections. Also includes postcards from Howe to Louis Mearns, September 28, 1900, and September 18, 1902.
