Abstract

Notes on birds seen or collected at Narragansett Bay, Prudence Island, Rhode Island, by Louis Mearns and his father (Edgar), during an 11 hour trip on 30 August 1901. Each species seen or collected is written on a separate note card with notes on quantities, where found (e.g. "in underbrush"), behavior or activities of bird (e.g. "flying overhead"; "looking for prey"), and occasionally sex of birds.
