Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plants collected by Killip and "S." (possibly Albert C. Smith) in Colombia, 1926 to 1927. Each entry includes collector number (14001 through 17290), scientific name, locality, common name, size, color, habitat, location, altitude, photograph taken, and quantity collected. A key in the front of the field book lists the symbols used to denote common names (such as herb, tree, shrub) and color (red, orange, blue). A map depicting an area of Colombia is affixed in the front of the book. Localities include: Turbaco, Coloncito, Surata, and California.
