Abstract

List of 238 mammals collected in various locations between 1891 and 1903. Includes locations and sometimes measurements, references to collections containing the species, and common name. Localities include but are not limited to Fort Adam (Rhode Island), Fort Snelling (Minnesota), Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming), and Green County (New York). Also includes list of 289 birds from various locations collected between 1896 and 1903. Localities include but are not limited to many of the same localities listed above, and Fort Clark, Texas. Two reptiles are listed from 1899 and 1900, both from Fort Adam, RI. Additional notes about birds skins inserted. Also includes a Photograph of Louis Mearns.
