Abstract

This notebook contains Bean's field notes from January 22 to February 17, 1907 and November 15 to December 7, 1908 in Florida. His notes are mostly narrative of his fishing / collecting, observations of surrounding habitat, weather conditions and temperatures, fishing and travel companions and acquaintances, and routes taken. Some notes are written in short hand. Bean visits various marine locations, including but not limited to Key West, St. Petersburg Wharf, Lake Harvey, St. Augustine, Turtle Mound, and Mosquito Lagoon.
