Abstract

Catalogue of birds of Washington, D.C., Virginia, New York, and South Carolina, 1910-1911. Includes the original notes of birds collected by Mearns in the Catskill Mountains, New York, 1896, and the original field notes of the birds of South Carolina, April 17-May 26, 1911. Collector numbers for birds in North Carolina range from 19054 to 19302. USNM catalog numbers range from 19960-20209, and collector numbers range from 18841 to 19302. Virginia localities include Smith Island. New York localities include Highland Falls and other areas. South Carolina localities include but are not limited to Mount Pleasant, Christ Church Parish at Porcher Bluff, and Capers Island.
