Abstract

The specimen catalog documents Edgar A. Mearn's field work during the Mexican Boundary Survey, 1893 - 1894. On the inside of the front cover is a list of locations including sites in New York. Information listed includes field number, dated collected (May 25, 1894 - August 28 1894), type, sex, age, locality, measurements (4 types), and remarks. These sometimes include USNM catalog number or infromation about specimen preparation. Localities usually include town, state, or ranch name. Most of the notebook is blank. Locations include California, United States; Lower California [Baja Californai], Jacumba San Diego con California, Mexico.
