Abstract

Volume 3 of a catalogue of birds Mearns collected on the Smithsonian African Expedition from 21 December 1909 to 21 March 1910. Collector numbers 17714-19019 are included, and correlating USNM catalog numbers have been added for most of the specimens. The list is interleaved with annotations on abundance, more specific locality information, and other information by Mearns. Localities where specimens were collected include Kampala (Uganda), Rhino Camp, and Gondokoro (currently in South Sudan). Feathers inserted one page after notes end.
