Abstract

The 2 specimen catalogs document Marchus W. Lyon, Jr.'s collecting in the United States and South America, 1900, 1905-1906. The first specimen catalog lists field number, type, sex, date (June 10, 1905 - September 23, 1906), and locality (sometimes listed with name of geographic feature i.e. canyon). Sometimes notes detail presence of fetuses, testes size, measurements, or preparation. Locations include Portland, Seaside, Oregon; Mt. Rainier, Washington; and Piseco, New York. |The second lists specimens collected in South America, February 26, 1900 - 1902. Pages are numbered.
