Abstract

The 10 black-and-white photographs document Bohumil Shimek's field work in Mississippi, 1904 - 1908. Some photographs are labeled dated; some include notes relating to figure and plate numbers. Subject matter includes detail images and vistas of loess, woods, ridges, gravel pits, and structures (possibly in town). Locations include Fort Adams, Vicksburg, Mississippi; (Snyder's Hollow) Missouri Valley, Crawford County, Iowa.
