Abstract

This field book includes the field notes of James C. Hinton, Macdougal [?] (also listed as King), and Bogusch [?]. Hinton's field notes include entries for specimens with collector numbers 16500 through 17909. These entries include scientific name. Macdougal's field notes include a list with collector numbers 347 through 11794 and scientific name. Bogusch's field notes include a list with collector numbers 11845 through 11994 and scientific name. A map of the Natchez Trace Parkway general plan (Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi) can be found in the front of the field book. A list of publications, including author, title, print date, proof date, and reprints, can be found between pages 134-137.
