Abstract

This field book includes the field notes of James C. Hinton. The notes include entries for specimens 1 through 6450 and scientific name. Many numbers lack entries. No locations are indicated. Some notes and correspondence between C. V. Morton and Daniel Nicholson are also included in the book. A separate specimen list of several loose pages is also included. This list includes collector numbers 12809 through 12573 and scientific names. A note on the first loose page reads, "rec'd from McVaugh May 1972, copy sent Hinton May 1972."
