Abstract

This field book consists of the specimen list of A. S. Hitchcock from his collecting activities on the east coast and southwestern regions of the United States in 1917 and 1918. The specimen list includes collector numbers (15974-16293); scientific name; date; location; and occasional notes on locality, abundance, and physical descriptions. Localities include: Whiteface Mountain, Plattsburgh (New York); Burlington (Vermont); Shelburne (New Hampshire); Fayettsville, Pine Bluff (Arkansas); Fort Worth, Amarillo (Texas); and Boulder (Colorado).
