Abstract

This field book consists of the specimen list of A. S. Hitchcock from his collecting activities in Hawaii in 1916 and in Maryland and Virginia in 1917. The specimen list includes collector numbers (15494-15869); scientific name; date; location; and occasional notes on locality, abundance, and physical descriptions. Localities include: Kauluwehi Swamp, Waialeale, Haleakala Crater, West Maui (Hawaii); Plummers Island, Suitland (Maryland); and Great Falls (Virginia).
