Abstract

The specimen catalog documents Edmund Heller's work with the National Geographic Society Yale University Peruvian Expedition, 1915. Includes a loose insert that is a type of list of localities of the Peruvian collection. Specimen lists include field number (1 - 892), sex, USNM catalog number (194765 - 194302), type, location (sometimes elevation), date, measurements (4 types), and remarks that are usually about specimen habitat or preparation method. There is an explanation of measurement types in the front of the notebook. Locations are throughout Peru.
