Abstract

This three page itinerary contains journal-like entries about Mearns's travels for the military from 1 to 18 May 1905 (Camp John Hay) and 27 November to 27 December 1905 (San Isidro, Luzon, to Zamboanga). At Zamboanga, Mearns assumed the duties of Chief Surgeon, Department of Mindanzo. Includes data from Mearns's personal orders. Also includes brief notes on bird collected at Trinidad (Benguet) and birds observed and plants collected at Panay Island. Pages are numbered 53-55, indicating they may be part of a larger volume.
