Abstract

This item contains journal-like accounts of Mearns's journey from San Francisco to Manila from 30 June to 26 July 1905. Mearns records notes on specimens he sees and collects including flying fish, dolphins, lizards, butterflies, and especially birds. These notes are taken at sea, in Honolulu, in Guam, and in Manila. Most of the notes are from Guam. 11 pages.
