Abstract

This item contains itinerary and narrative information about the Mount Apo expedition Mearns conducted between 9 June to 24 July 1904 in the Philippines. This item includes an itinerary of Captain C. C. Smith's Expedition (13 June to 17 June 1904) and a typescript account by Corporal Fletcher L. Keller, Davao, Mindanao. Mearns accounts include notes on birds and mammals observed and collected, temperatures and elevations of localities visited, and descriptions of local Bagobo people and customs. Localities include but are not limited to Mount Apo and Talicud (Talikud) Island.
