Abstract

Materials document Alexander Wetmore's time in Europe in 1930. He came to collect specimens of birds for the US National Museum (USNM) in Spain, and attend the VII International Ornithological Congress in Amsterdam. Materials document both activities. Includes correspondence, bulletins, itineraries, and itemized expense records. Correspondence describes specimens sent back to the USNM and business conducted in Washington DC in his absence.
