Abstract

This folder contains correspondence from D. [W?] West and others regarding military operations and specimen collecting in the Philippines dated from 1 to 6 June 1906. Many letters are brief reports to Mearns from his subordinates. Include is a description of a trip Mearns ordered to Mount Malindang, “Mearns River”, and “Mount Bliss”, during which a specimen was captured; telegrams; and a letter regarding a deer skin and skull and supplies.
