Abstract

This field book includes Mary Agnes Chase's list of plant collected between 1897 and 1905. Chase collected plants in and around locations in which she lived during this period, including parks, woods and lakes. Entries include a sequential number, scientific name of specimen, broad physical description of characteristics of specimen, location (including city, park or neighborhood names) and date. Locations include areas in and around Chicago, Illinois (including Indiana); and Washington, DC (including Maryland and Northern Virginia).
