PrintThe field book documents Les A. Hart's field work in Panama, February 26 - March 26, 1972. Journal entries are dated and sometimes headed with location. Entries describe daily work and time of day, weather, vegetation, terrain, elevation, specimen collecting methods, specimens collected (including quantity), and fauna observed. Often collecting was completed at night. Most of the notebook middle is blank. Includes a photocopy of a map on Panama with notes on the reverse side. In the back is a list of specimens with number, type (scientific name, quantity, page number, and unidentified information). Specimens collected include bats. Locations include Cerro Punta, Santa Clara, La Concepción, and Provincia de Chiriquí.
