Abstract

3 field catalogs document mammal specimens collected by Bernard Feinstein in South Vietnam, 1960 - 1968. The first relates to accession 231561 and covers September 12, 1960 - August 9, 1961. Information includes date, sex, type , locality, measurements, notes (measurements (tests) or other information about specimen), and USNM catalog number 320000-322000, non consecutive). The second field catalog contains dated entries, covering the same dates as the first, and describes collecting methods, overviews of specimens collected, conditions and descriptions with specimen numbers, types (include tupaia, menetes, rattus), and presence of fleas. The third catalog (January 4, 1963 - May 20, 1968) describes date, sex, type, locality, measurements, and notes. Locations include the vicinity of Diên Khánh and Cau Da [possibly Thôn Cau Ðá].
