Abstract

This field book contains lists of fresh water zooplankton, especially Rotifera, that Harring took at various locations between 22 January 1910 and 6 June 1915 in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. An annotated map of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay is inserted after the last field book entry. No collector numbers are provided. "Common" or "few" is marked next to names of species starting from 1912. Localities include but are not limited to "Power House", "Lenna Pond", Potomac River, "the Tidal Basin", Four-Mile Run, Kenilworth, and Hyattsville.
