Abstract

These field notes of John Percy Moore were compiled during a trip to India to collect leeches in 1930 to 1931. Notes are not in chronological order. No collector numbers are provided for the specimens in these notes. Each sheet contains information about a single species including where it was collected or how it was obtained. Localities include but are not limited to Ootacamund Lake (the city Ootacamund is currently known as Udagamandalam) and West Point in Darjeeling (Dārjiling). This field book also contains sketches and weather information for several locations in India. Many leeches in the Haemadipsa genera were collected.
