Abstract

This field book is volume 4 of 6 volumes. This volume contains notes from a trip to Currimao de Solomque and notes from several locations on Luzon Island's Ilocos Norte province in the Philippines Mearns kept on birds and mammals observed and collected from 1 January to 15 March 1907. The volume begins with diary like notes. Specimen lists start on page 71. Collector numbers include 6352 to 6399 (mammals) and 14677 to 15057 (birds). Mammal notes include measurements. Localities include Nagpartian, Dingras, Laoag, Currimao, Vintar Lake, San Miguel, and Paoay. Also included: “Species new to my collection”, including some reptiles listed, page 83; “Specimens collected to March 7, 1907” page 128.
