Abstract

This field book is volume 3 of 6 volumes. This volume contains notes Mearns took on birds and mammals seen and collected from 21 December 1906 to 5 January 1907 in Baguio trip (with General Wood), and birds seen on the island of Luzon, Benquet Province, 24 December 1906 to 4 January 1907 in the Philippines. Collector numbers include 14597 to 15341(birds); 6351 and 6400 to 6434 (mammals). Measurements for specimens are included. Localities include but are not limited to Baguio, Island of Luzon, and Trinidad Lake (Benguet). "Description of nest and eggs of Cephalophoneus hasutus" is included on page 30.
