Abstract

This field book consists of a specimen list of Henri Guillaume Galeotti, possibly with M. Martens. The specimen list includes collector numbers 1 through 7350, scientific names, location notes, and altitudes. Various localities in Mexico are listed including: Oaxaca, Las Vigas, Xalpa, Santiago, Vera Cruz, Jalisco, Mirador, Tehuacan. Bound into the volume is one specimen label for "Plants of Mexico" that credits E. A. Goldman as the collector. No dates are indicated within the field book, but the spine lists the range 1835 to 1840.
