Abstract

This item contains a compiled list of fishes Leonhard Stejneger collected in the Bering Sea region between 1 May 1882 and approximately 25 September 1883. Collector numbers 1001 to 2775 are included. Descriptions of color and color patterns of each specimen are provided. Localities on which specimen were collected include Copper Island (currently Ostrov Mednyy), Bering Island (currently Ostrov Beringa), and the Bering Sea. No scientific or common names are included.
