Abstract

This notebook contains mostly personal notes of Bean's family life. Some field notes from trips to Florida and the Potomac River are included. Field notes from Florida are dated from June 1 to December 25, 1905 and list specimen collected and mention some weather conditions and temperatures of the locations visited. Another trip to Florida in Jacksonville from January 11, 1896 is recorded briefly in two different parts of the notebook. Other locations in Florida include, but are not limited to, Daytona, Ponce Park, New Smyrna, Titusville, Hillsboro Inlet, New River Inlet, and Broad Creek. Notes from the Potomac are dated April and May 1896.
