Abstract

This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected by F. R. Fosberg from 19 February to 15 October 1977 in California, Hawaii, Virginia, Florida, and U.S. Virgin Islands. Collector numbers 56643-56902 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, with occasional notes on locality or physical descriptions of specimens (size, color, etc.). Also included are some longer narrative notes describing vegetation in various localities. Several botanical specimens can be found in the back of the field book. Also included are: a self-guided nature trail pamphlet for Kipuka Puaulu, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and some correspondence from Mrs. Marvin W. Webster.
