Abstract

This field book contains fragmented notes Mearns took in the Philippines. Only sections of these notes are presented in chronological order. Notes are taken in a personal calendar book and start in the section marked "January 05" 1902, although this may not be the actual date. Notes from 27 September to 4 October 1903 are recorded, as well as notes from 6 October 1903. Notes with later dates may be recorded. Mearns' notes list birds spotted in various locations including but not limited to Agus River and Lake, Butig River, and Malabang.
