Abstract

Incomplete field notes and journal Mearns kept from 11 September to 23 October 1902 in Montana. Notes on birds and mammals are included. Mearns notes the quantities of birds seen or collected, although collector numbers are not included. Localities include Bozeman, stygian caves (in which Mearns notes many dead birds), Gardiner, Yellowstone, and Lake Henry.
