The field catalogs document collecting in Java, March 2, 1909 - May 1910. The first catalog covers mammals collected March 2, 1909 - July 15, 1909, by Own Bryant and William Palmer, and records USNM catalog number (154879 - 155242), specimen number, sex, age, location, dates, and notes including measurements. Pages are numbered. Specimens include rodents and bats. Locations include S.S. Lai Sang, Buitenzorg [Bogor], and Depok. The second field catalog covers specimens of July 16, 1909 - February 20, 1910, and covers accession numbers 50773 - 51791. Data recorded includes USNM catalog numbers 155260 - 172501 and same information in the first notebook. Locations include Palabochan, Buitenzorg. The third field catalog covers mammals collected March 18, 1910 - May, 1910. Data includes USNM catalog number 156363 - 156385, specimen number, sex, type, location, and date.
