Abstract

This item contains miscellaneous bird notes. According the finding aid, Attwater's list of Birds of San Antonio, Auk IX, 384, are also included. A 1892-1893 list consists of sheets on which one species name is written as a heading. Beneath the species heading is a list of collections or sightings of that species. Approximate collector number range is 7000-9300. Also included, are three large, folded sheets with sighting and collection information for Lanius ludovicanus (collected over multiple collecting trips and years). Approximate collector number range is 1273-11709. Localities specimens were seen and collected include Fort Clark (TX), Dog Springs (NM), San Francisco Canyon, "Canjon Bonita Creek", Big Hatchet Mountain (NM), San Diego County (CA), Fort Verde (AZ), and Circleville (OH).
